The Jewish New Year is around the corner and this holiday is not all about partying and staying out late, in fact, the New Year in Jewish spirituality is about returning to ourselves and becoming clearly aware of who we are. From that awareness, we start to transform our lives and lean into growth and practice radical forgiveness. 

Come join Hadar Cohen, Adina Polen from Beyond Noahs Ark, and At The Well for an evening of learning, connecting, and artistic expression hosted at Spark Arts. We will first learn what our sages teach about forgiveness and then turn to the canvas as we process the task at hand in order to welcome in 5779. 


Hosts and Educators:

Hadar Cohen is a community organizer and spiritual leader manifesting visions of feminism, soulful prayer, and communal care. She works for Moishe House as a Jewish educator and is At The Well's scholar in residence.

Aviva Kanoff is the founder and Creative Director of Spark Arts. She is passionate about convening community around good food, creativity, and deep conversations. Combined with her love of hosting and creative characters, Aviva is up to host any and every creative event at her Salon in The heart of The Castro.

Adina Polen is the founder of Beyond Noah's Ark (beyondnoahsark.org), a Jewish Maker Institute where people of all ages can learn Jewish sources and collaboratively create sacred resources for deepening personal paths of meaning. 

At The Well is a women's health and wellness organization specifically rooted in Jewish wisdom on a mission to unify practices of health and holiness. 

This event is open to all women, no matter age, body, race, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation.
