Atiq is having a party and we'd love for you to be there! In Jewish tradition there is the notion of having a Chanukat Habayit - formal dedication of a new home with a celebration, aka, a housewarming party. Please join us as we mark the official launch of our Atiq studio space, our Atiq home.
Focusing on the theme of Ancestors, our studio launch will also mark the start our first major fundraising campaign, and the opening of applications for the inaugural cohort of Maker Kollel, our Artist-in-Residence program.
The launch party will include food and music, micro maker prompts for folks to get a taste of our work, and opportunities to learn more about how to get involved throughout the year.
We look forward to being a third space where people in the Bay Area Jewish community and beyond can learn, connect, create, and feel a sense of pride and ownership within Jewish tradition. A note about finding us: Atiq is generously housed within the Lehrhaus Judaica space, which is on the ground floor of the Berkeley Hillel. We will have signage up to help guide you!
